“I am incredibly appreciative of Amy for running for the school board because she is exactly what we need right now. She is a great listener, understands the community she would be serving, she is reasonable, and has a passion for our schools.
I would highly encourage anyone to reach out to both candidates and meet with them. You will learn quickly that Amy cares deeply and she values what you have to say too. I will be voting for Amy and I hope you will join me.”

“My name is Tom Martinez, I was a past member of the RE-5J School Board. I have lived in Johnstown since 1970. I graduated from Roosevelt, so did my daughters and now my grandkids are going through the system.
I have known the Musgrave family for many years and know that Amy Musgrave will be a great fit for the RE-5J School district. She is caring, friendly, listens and will do anything in her power to make our schools the best they can be.
We need a leader not a follower…”

“Neighbors, we have a very important election coming up for our school district. I would like to endorse Amy Musgrave for the School Board.
Amy will be outstanding at representing the whole community and not just certain parts of the community. We can count on Amy to make sure our voice as parents is heard. I give Amy my highest of recommendations and will be voting for her on election day.”

“As a 16 year resident of Johnstown and mother of two children in the RE-5J district, I am grateful that Amy has taken the initiative to run for school board.
Amy has the ability to focus on the big picture. She is an amazing communicator who focuses on common sense and facts. During our discussions, I have been very impressed by the amount of dedication Amy has for this district. She takes the time to talk through issues, listening to all the points before making an informed decision. Amy has a wealth of knowledge about and passion for our district. She cares a great deal about supporting parents, students and staff within our community.
Amy would be an amazing addition to our school board.”

“Why Amy?
When I first found out that Jeremy Scott wasn’t seeking re-election, I ensured to pay close attention to the candidates who decided to run for this position. I’m not anyone influential in our district, just a mom – a mom with two kids in the school system here and a mom who calls this district home.
My kids are both young in the district, and so ensuring that their education is the best they can receive is something that I am passionate about. I have worked with Amy’s opponent on a couple of occasions and I was worried that her perspective was more extreme than I thought someone on the board should be.
When I was first introduced to Amy, she discussed her family, her history and her position on what the district should offer to families. I appreciate her perspective to ensure that the district remains community, but more importantly, family focused. I want to know I have a say in my child’s education and she agrees with keeping with that, as our current board has done so well in that respect. She believes in keeping our kids safe as well as wanting to keep politics out of the school district – which I don’t believe is the place for them.
In the short time I’ve known her, I see strong work ethic, strong family morals, incredibly tough skin and I think each of these things will help her succeed in this role. I think that the fact that she has volunteered to step into this shows great initiative and I can’t wait to vote for her.
Good luck to her in this election!”

“I endorse Amy for RE5J’s school board because I trust she will bring a voice to the table that reflects the common-sensed educational values that RE-5J needs to support ‘growing students’ according to the Law of Sowing and Reaping, not manufacturing them with manipulation.”
